Billing FAQs

Paying for therapy can sometimes be a stressful and confusing process. My goal is to make the financial part of therapy as transparent and easy as possible. Depending on how you decide to pay for sessions, via insurance or private pay, I will explain how it works during our first session together.

How much does each session cost?

60-minute sessions are $130, payable by cash, check, Visa, or Mastercard.

If you prefer to use insurance, you will pay your deductible or copay each session, with the amount depending on your insurance plan.

I have initial 30-minute consultation sessions available by video or in person at the office - a consultation session is an option to meet briefly and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have to help you decide if I will be a good fit for your therapeutic needs.

Do you take insurance?

I currently accept the following insurances:

  • Aetna

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield

  • Cigna

  • TriWest

  • United Healthcare

  • Colorado Medicaid

Do you offer a sliding scale?

Although I do not offer a sliding scale at this time, if there is a concern with the financial ability to pay for sessions, I offer flexible payment options, including weekly, biweekly, or monthly payments for sessions. I am happy to discuss this during our first session.
