Walk and Talk Therapy
What is walk and talk therapy?
Walk and talk therapy is taking the therapy session outside. You and I will agree upon the details during our first session, including where we will walk, confidentiality, and more. Walk and talk therapy gives clients the chance to meet with a therapist outside of the traditional office setting and bring another element into their treatment. Numerous articles have been written on the benefits of walk-and-talk therapy, some of which have been included on this page.
Will my insurance cover walk and talk therapy?
Unfortunately, insurance does not cover walk and talk therapy. However, if you will be utilizing insurance benefits and are interested in this type of therapy, we can choose to meet at the office located at 801 N. Weber St. for our scheduled session, and we can walk near the office, returning to the office at the end of our session.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule an initial appointment to discuss the details of walk and talk therapy with me by scheduling an appointment online, emailing, or calling me. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!
